Printronix Line Printers
Line printer technology is one of the oldest electronic print technologies. Using hammers which strike through a ribbon to leave an impression, this technology is not dissimilar to old fashioned typewriters. However, unlike typewriters you can print at incredible speeds (up to 2000 lines per minute) and because the only consumables are ribbons it is the cheapest way of laying down print onto paper.
Although these printers are not as common as they once were, for the right application using a Printronix line printer may be the most efficient option and could save thousands of pounds.

Printronix ODV-2D Solution
The Printronix Auto ODV uses an external verifier attached to the outside of the best-selling Printronix T series barcode thermal label printer which scans, verifies and then records the quality of the barcodes against IISO/IEC and ANSI standards.
If the machine detects a faulty barcodes then customisable options include either to strike out the barcode or attempt to reprint it up to as many tries of your choosing. Will work for;

- 2D Barcodes
The advantage of using the Printronix ODV-2 verification system is that you can link it into your own software or use Printronix PrintNet Enterprise Software suit to capture details reports of every grade and barcode printed.
The Printronix T series printers are robust heavy-duty printers that are designed to cope in industrial environments where dirt and dust may cause issues. Connections include USB, Network and Wireless is available as an optional extra and can be used as a direct and indirect thermal transfer printer or simply and customers can choose whether to use a 203 / 300 DPI printheads.
