These are the some of the most common printer problems which our local engineers can fix

Paper Jamming

Paper jamming is one of the most common faults – even if there is no paper visible – and one that our printer engineers are likely to be able to fix in one visit.

Poor Print Quality

Poor print quality may mean that a consumable is on the way out – but it may be because it is dirty and needs a valet clean. Save some money and extend the life of your consumables by speaking to us.

Error Messages

If your printer is displaying an error message then contact us and we will tell you what it means and the next steps you need to take to fix your photocopier.

Noises

Banging, grinding, squeaking and general noise coming from your printer is an obvious sign that something has gone and you will need an engineer to investigate.

Not Printing

This is one of the most frustrating problems of all – the copier looks fine, there are no messages and the lights are on – but when you send a print job to it nothing comes out. Don’t worry, our engineers will be able to help.

Servicing

Like all machines your printers will need regular servicing and maintenance visits from time to time. Regular service and maintenance visits will keep your printer running and will prevent most of the common faults.

Why organisations choose to use engineers from Precision Peripherals Ltd?

Our engineers have on average over 15 years experience of fixing printer. Our customers know that they are getting printer engineers who know what to look for, how to fix it and above all are helpful. They will take the time to explain to you what went wrong and how it was repaired or what needs to happen next. Before leaving they will service the machine and clean it and point out anything that is likely to cause it to fail in the near future.

If a part is needed then they will report it to our helpdesk and you will be contacted with a cost for the part. If the price is high then we may recommend swapping your copier out for a new or for one of our high quality refurbished photocopiers.

All of our engineers have had manufacturing training and we get pricing support from them so that if you do need a part then you know that not only are you going to be getting the right parts but also that you will also be getting them at the very best price.

Copiers and Production Print

If you have a floor standing copier with a finisher or a room sized production machine then you may have come to the wrong page – but you haven’t come to the wrong company. Unlike other printer repair companies our engineers are able to repair what were once called photocopiers, digital press and more complicated production type printers. Precision Peripherals is able to support devices manufactured by Ricoh, Develop, Sharp, Canon, Konica and Xerox.

As repairing these type of printers is different for normal printers then we will take the time to fully understand your requirements before sending an engineer out. If you have one of these machines then please speak to an advisor by clicking on the button below.
